Essentials SPS is ready to use and does not necessarily need to be diluted (undiluted). Dilute Essentials SPS to a total volume of 5 or 10 liters if the dosage is too small for use with an automatic dosing pump.
Dilution of Essentials SPS
To calculate the correct dosage, we need the net volume of your aquarium in liters (amount of water in the entire aquarium system).
Net volume in liters
The Essentials SPS products are generally consumed at the same rate. In this case, the dosage of Essentials SPS #1 and #2 can be adjusted based on the carbonate hardness (KH) value. Please only enter the total daily dosage of Essentials Mixed #1 here!
Dosing volume Essentials SPS #1 in ml:
If the calcium level changes over time, the dosage of Essentials SPS #2 should be adjusted based on calcium consumption. Only in this case should an entry be made here.
Dosing volume Essentials SPS #2 in ml:

The Essentials SPS products are generally consumed at the same rate. In this case, the dosage of Essentials SPS #1 and #2 can be adjusted based on the KH value. If the calcium level changes over time, the dosage of Essentials SPS #2 should be adjusted based on calcium consumption. Use periods instead of commas when entering values!
Measure the KH level daily during the initial phase to determine your aquarium's Essentials SPS consumption. Ideally, measure at the same time each day and at the same intervals between doses!

Measure your calcium level once a week, always at 7-day intervals. Note the measurement results and enter them in the fields below as needed (calcium levels change).

The Essentials products combine to create a seawater-like liquid that safely replenishes the substances consumed by your animals. However, their use typically leads to a gradual increase in the salinity of your aquarium water. This allows for a mini water change, which simultaneously corrects the salinity of your aquarium water. Simply replace the aquarium water with the same amount of reverse osmosis water. The salinity correction is best performed manually.“
If you can only determine the density of your aquarium water (using a hydrometer or hydrometer), use one of the tables provided on the internet for conversion (search for density to salinity).
